Michael LaBella is the President of LaBella Property & Maintenance Solutions. A seasoned tradesman and hospitality professional with 20 years experience, was most recently the Chief Engineer at The Ritz Carlton Residences, Singer Island. Michael is originally from Medford, MA and started his career in 2000 with Lake Industries, a mechanical contractor. Shortly after, he was accepted into the apprenticeship program as a 2nd year apprentice for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in Boston. He completed the 4-year program, earning the title Journeyman Carpenter and began his first project for the redevelopment of Terminal A at Boston-Logan International Airport for Delta Airlines.
Drive, passion, and a strong focus on customer service has set high standards for Michael. His training and education aside from Carpentry includes Residential/Light Commercial Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Finance Certification and Network Systems Certification, has paved the way for setting new goals and launching LaBella Property & Maintenance Solutions.
Michael started working in Hospitality in 2008 as a security officer at The Resort at Singer Island, shortly after he and his wife Tori relocated to South Florida. He began his leadership development as the Recreation Manager, overseeing various aspects of outlet operations and resort activities when the property transitioned with a new management company and was rebranded to the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa. Eventually, Michael wanted to get back into his maintenance background and accepted a Preventive Maintenance position at the resort which resulted in a promotion to Engineering Supervisor .
In 2013, Michael started with The Ritz Carlton Residences, Singer Island and was responsible for general/preventive maintenance which consisted of two 27 story towers with 2 central plants. In 2016 Michael was promoted to Chief Engineer. During his time with The Ritz Carlton, he earned Five Star of the Quarter and of the Year accolades in both his Associate and Leadership positions.
Michael resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL with his wife Tori and their two sons, Dante and Lucas. In his free time, Michael can be found on the softball field, enjoying quality time with his family and catching the newest action-adventure movie.
